Cheribundi Leads the Way to Your Fitness Resolutions

The New Year 2020 is here and that means FITNESS RESOLUTIONS.

Now, more than ever, Influencers are leading the game in getting people excited about their overall wellbeing, by creating long term relationships with consistent daily engagement with their audiences.  Being relatable is the key.  "If I can do it, so can you!"  Fitness is, afterall, attainable for everyone.

It was a consistent faction of fitness influencers that were going crazy for a brand of drink called Cheribundi by taking the company's "7 day challenge" that caught my attention. That's how I literally learned about this tart cherry juice product...on social media!  Pioneering fitness influencers, as well as up and comers, who are shaping the future of the fitness industry all stated Cheribundi as a high recommend.  How did the fitness industry jump on the bandwagon? Well...The CPSDA has been pushing the drink since 2011, the Arthritis Foundation has declared this as a food that fights inflammation and aleviates symptoms, and the New England Patriots supply it to their team to help with recovery. I thought if football players can perform at the same level each day after drinking this juice, who am I not to try it?  I definitely need help with recovery after an intense cardio barre class.  So, I went on the hunt, and found it at my local CVS store.  I happen to love cherry juice, in general, so I was keen to test it out.

I did the Cheribundi 7 day challenge in August of 2018 and haven't stopped drinking since then. I typically had trouble falling asleep, in general, so I was excited to see if this juice would actually supply me a restful nights sleep, given its natural melatonin.  All restless nights/insomnia indeed did fall away, immediately.  I use a sleep cycle app to chart my sleep habits.  The first seven days, I fell asleep right after twenty minutes instead of hours and then onward, I now fall asleep between 3-5 minutes of turning on my sleep cycle app. I would say that is progress! My body felt noticeably different actually, just after three days, as I am a very sensitive person.  So clearly, this product works.  I have been religiously drinking my 8oz. a day throughout the week and feel fantastic and in turn...happier.  And the compliments about my skin have been flowing since my first sip.  Therefore, whenever I find something magnificent that proves to be consistently good, I have to tell people about it.  I personally contacted Cheribundi to tell them about my progress, just so you know this isn't a paid advertisement and I am happy to report:

How did this brand come to be?

When a former athlete collaborated with a bunch of Cornell scientists after realizing the benefits of tart cherry juice, the brand was launched.  Tart cherries are known for their high levels of specific antioxidants called anthocyanins, as well as naturally-occurring melatonin. Each 8-oz. serving of Cheribundi contains 40 to 60 benefit-filled tart cherries!

Tamela, the challenge looks very interesting, gotta check it out! I’m the queen of making lists and resolutions, basically planning every aspect of my life but guess what? My personal well-being is always last on my list, I always focus on something else rather than my damn self. I plan to put myself first in 2020 and this means I have to focus on my diet, to start running again and to take a breather from time to time.

I just ordered two cases, the Sleep and Hydrate ones. I’ve been under a lot of stress lately and it takes me ages to fall asleep now. I don’t want to resort to sleeping pills just yet, can’t wait to try this. Will update you once I finish it, Tamela.

I absolutely love cherries, this must taste yummy! I always set up unrealistic resolutions and then midway through the second week I’m sad and depressed because I fell short.

Lately I’ve been trying to reduce all the junk food I tend to order whenever I get bored and the difference is more than visible. Truth be told, I went above and beyond my cravings and ordered way more food than I needed. Cheribundi sure sounds like a healthy treat, will check it out.

Can I find Cheribundi in other stores? We don’t have CVS in my small town #sadface

Wow, they have a lot of flavors, the light one would be my pick! Also, I have to say I absolutely love it when businesses do their best to create a product that’s actually healthy and not focused on BS marketing and bogus claims.

Did you have a chance to test their trail mix? I just checked their website and this is the first thing that caught my eye (I’m a huge snacker haha)

How on earth did I miss this? I spend way too much time on Instagram but I’ve never heard of Cheribundi until now. The Rebuild flavor seems to be the best for me, I need a good post-workout recovery drink that doesn’t taste like dirt/has a ton of sugar. PS I have to say, I wasn’t expecting it to be so decently priced, some healthy drinks have insane prices…

Here’s to a healthy and happy 2020, no matter how long the resolutions list may be! I’ve been drinking only Flow water lately but this looks so yummy. By the way, now I crave cherries soooo bad, thank God I have some Cherry Garcia from Ben & Jerry left from NY eve.

This year I decided to finally start the program from Kayla Itsines, BBG. I've been putting it off for the last year or so and right now I’m all out of excuses haha. I’m not that big on sweet drinks but this made me very curious.
